The White Rock Lawn Bowling Club will have 3 of our members representing BC at the Canadian National Lawn Bowling Championships in North Vancouver from August 17th - 19th, 2026. Representing our club in the Ladies Fours championship will be Sharon B, Kathy H and Gina G. They will be joined by Lynn B from the Qualicum Beach LBC.

They will be playing 7 round robin games in the quest to finish in the top 4 to qualify for the medal round. Their 2nd games at 12:30PM on Monday, August 17th will be live streamed on YouTube. As the silver medalists at the BC Provincial Championships held in July in Victoria they will be known as BC2. Monday's 12:30 game will be against the BC1 team.

The live streaming of games throughout the event will feature action from the various Men's and Women's Pairs and Fours competitions being held from Monday to Wednesday. Game times on both Monday and Tuesday are at 9:00AM, 12:30PM and 3:15PM with the final round robin game scheduled for Wednesday at 9:00AM.

The Bronze Medal Games will go on Wednesday at 12:30PM and the Gold Medal Games will be played at 3:15PM.

The Singles Championships will also be played at North Vancouver from August 21st through 23rd with live streaming of those events also available on YouTube. There is currently no information on whether or not there will be live streaming for the Men's and Women's Canadian National Senior Triples Championships being held in Windsor, Ontario from August 26th to 30th. White Rock will be represented in Windsor the BC Champions Dave B and Jim G along with their teammate Bill Pattinson (Maple Ridge LBC).
