On Saturday, September 27th, 2025 the White Rock LBC held a day long event to celebrate the end of the spring/summer season.

The day started with a fun game of triples with 36 members participating.


The Club Singles were next up featuring the Men's Plate final and the Ladies Championship final. The Men's Plate featured Greg C taking on Steve W with Greg C earning the victory. The Ladies Plate competition took place at an earlier date with Sandra B wining the title with a win over Ruth G. The Men's Championship between Dave B and George O was postponed until a later date.

The Ladies Championship between Patti C and Kathy H turned into an epic battle with both players making some amazing shots throughout the game. With the winner needing to reach the target score of 21, Patti held a 20-19 advantage over Kathy. Kathy was already 1 shot with a bowl just in front of the jack. She drew in behind the jack with her final bowl to hold 2. Patti C, with her last bowl, drew in between Kathy's bowls to score 1 and win the championship 21-19. (see video of the final bowls)

Burgers were being served throughout the day. Following the competition the trophy and plate awards were presented to the winners. The prizes for the Spring/Summer Leagues and Aggregate were also handed out.
